Visit to Shanghai Oriental Green Boat
Today we had gone to a sort of themed park “Shanghai Oriental Green Boat“.
The plan was to leave the hotel by 7 AM. But as usual some time spent in coordinating among 16 people(?). Anyway, we finally started our journey at around 9AM. The journey was only about 1.5 hrs. We reached the park at around 10.30. The whether was excellent and the park was so nice but sadly there was no crowd ![]()
It looked like only 16 of us were visiting that park.
The entry ticket was 50 RMB per person. After entering the park we did had a looong photo session with all those statues.
Some people even wanted Windsurfing but the officials told, they are not allowing because of the heavy wind. And also, they told us it will be very difficult for the beginners.
After the lunch(afternoon), we took the bicycles (2 seaters). We roamed around. And at around 7PM we left the park. It was not as thrilling and eventful as we had thought, but is definitely a nice weekender if you are staying in Shanghai.
