Story of My Life by Helen Keller
Hi all, I am back and this time with another classic book “Story of My Life” by Helen Keller .
Link for download/Reading -> Story-of-My-Life.pdf
Most of you wont have heard of this book, However most of you would have seen this story as a bollywood movie. Lets see if you can guess which picture I am talking about !!!!
Hint Click to read a small paragraph from the book !
The first one to enter the pictures name correctly will enter Pande’s hall of fame
Even in the days before my teacher came, I used to feel along the square stiff boxwood hedges,
and, guided by the sense of smell would find the first violets and lilies. There, too, after a fit of
temper, I went to find comfort and to hide my hot face in the cool leaves and grass. What joy it
was to lose myself in that garden of flowers, to wander happily from spot to spot, until, coming
suddenly upon a beautiful vine, I recognized it by its leaves and blossoms, and knew it was the
vine which covered the tumble-down summer-house at the farther end of the garden!

Swades might have been good choice but you never know about Amir and his Mangal Pandey

I agree with you Karry, BLACK surely deserved to be the selected for OSCAR. Sanjay leela bhansali has created the masterpiece supported with the phenominal performance of amitabh and rani and yes swadesh was close to second for oscar nomination, but surely why paheli is still a “PAHELI” for everybody.

Mr Saumil you are right !!!
The movie is Black… People think its Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s masterpiece, but may be it is from the above book
However I should mention the fact that Mr Amitabh Bachchan and the Queen Rani Mukherjee did a brilliant job and have done justice to the story. Unluckily Black was not nominated for Oscars and god knows why Paheli was nominated instead. Maybe they thought the magic of Shahrukh can bring Oscar to India. The other khan aamir khan could not bring the Oscar for Lagaan !!! Hopefully The magic of of this Khan works this time……
