Sony DCR-HC36
Today I bought a Sony DCR-HC36E Camcorder. Camera seems to be fine with all those standard features. Even a Memory Stick Duo is provided to capture digital images. But anyway I have another one for this purpose, a Sony Cyber-shot(DSC-T3)

The price for the Digicam(Sony models similar to Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T3 or T9) starts with 2000RMB++ i.e. around INR 10K-12K. Features starts with 6Mega pixcel+ 3/4xzoom and 256MB card. May be we need to buy an extra SD memory card with 1GB and one extra battery.
And camcorder with miniDV casset starts with 2600RMB++(HC26E model), i.e. around INR 16K If you want to go for DVD/HDD storage camera then the price starts from 4700RMB++ i.e. INR 28K .
