Something about Rang De Basanti !
Last weekend(infact,week mid), we saw Rang De Basanti in Urvashi Theatre…. no special comments, actually movie is good but lacks that punch which the audience were expecting.
Actually, these days, this is becoming major issue for the producer/director to go for stars like Amir,ShahRukh… because people will come with a high expectation !
Ofcourse, this is very good in order to get the initial pickup, but it might as well prove to be a disadvantage after. Music is not that exceptional from A R Rehman (like DilSe,Roja..), but is unique in it’s own way.
Anyway, this is a personal opinion and many of friends said the film was really great.
p.s: By the way, our trip to Ooty is canceled because of so and so reasons

)
Before going for the movie, we went to Lal Bhag for that Flower Show, it was really nice. Here is my picture from an artist’s pont of view (i.e. portrait)

hi amit, I still remember when you had told me “Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani” was great , after seeing it first-day-first-show.

Hey I saw rang de basanti today and its a wonderful film !! It has all the right punches, maybe you went to see a movie like lagaan with some happy ending etc … thats why you didnt like it !!!!!!
